Local start-up financial assistance
Our strategy:
We not only encourage students to open start-ups but also university provides full/ partial financial support to those who are actively involved in the process. Every academic year there are a number of iniciatives directed to support new business plans and university responsible administration department arranges a meeting where students to provide their ideas to the public, judges in turn. These meetings always leverages its ecosystem of supportive individuals and organizations to help startup founders to grow their networks; forge new collaborations and help to secure public and private investment.

Target:
TSUULL will evaluate submitted plans equally and impartially regardless of age,gender and social background of participants.
Programme timeline :
December–February: applications are open – applications via the website and queries to interdep@navoiy-uni.uz
February: Shortlisting, interviews and cohort selection.
March: Onboarding and initial work with the programme team.
April– July: Delivery of a range of speed mentoring; workshops and other events.
In 2022, the contest was held by selected organizers in accordance with the university rector’s order on Startup Innovation Project (dated 01.15.2020 , №01-43)
In the contest, the following students have embarked on their projects:
- • Shokirjon Tursunov, a third student at the Faculty of teaching Uzbek language and literature, project title: “Webozor”;
- • Nilufar Isroilova, a junior student at the Faculty of Translation Theory and Practice, project title:“Uzbek in minutes”;
- • Fotima Urunova, a second-year student at the Faculty of Uzbek languages in other language groups, project title: “Navoi- Unforgettable;
- • Iroda Tursunova, a first-year student at the Faculty of Translation Theory and Practice, project-title:“Abru ART” national carpentry pattern;
- • Abdusamad Egamberdiyev, a third year student at the Faculty of teaching Uzbek language and literature, project title: “konf.uz” intellectual server service,; Adham Abduxoliqov
In the contest, startup winners were rewarded with compensation so that they could put their projects into practice.
