Inorganic Waste Treatment
TSUULL main intoxic waste sources are university canteen, coffee shops, buffets, classrooms, lecture halls, administrative/staff offices, and dormitories. Waste separation is the initial step of intoxic waste treatment at the university. The separate containers are placed all over the campus and university population is regularly taught and trained on the importance of waste separation. Daily the waste is gathered at the solid waste storage facility and manually separated into aluminum cans, plastic bottles, glass bottles, cardboards, and paper. This separation is carried out in order to make sure that all the recyclable garbage is separated from general waste. All plastic, paper and glass waste is handled by university Sustainability Offfice by selling recyclables to local recycling companies.
