GLOBAL EDUCATION AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF NATIONAL METHODOLOGY

On April 26, the Faculty of Native Language and Literature Education at Alisher Navoi Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature held the 7th annual scientific-practical conference, Global Education and the Development of National Methodology. This event serves as a forum to examine how global advancements influence and are influenced by educational systems, a sector crucial for national progress and sustainability. In an era of global competition, countries are challenged to prepare citizens who can meet modern demands, which necessitates updating educational strategies and curricula to align with evolving trends.
Bahodir Kholiqov, the university’s First Vice Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work, addressed the conference, emphasizing that globalization impacts not only economic and political spheres but also social, cultural, legal, educational, and tourism sectors. He underscored that language and literary education are essential for the future of the nation.

The conference honored Dr. Roza Niyozmetova, a distinguished scholar and professor with extensive experience in teaching Uzbek literature, on her 60th birthday, recognizing her contributions to the field.

The plenary session featured presentations by notable experts including Dr. B. Tukhliyev, Dr. O. Jamoliddinova, Dr. S. Matchonov, as well as Kh. Nazirova, director of the Abdulla Qodiriy Creativity School, and Sh. Toshmirzayeva, a top-tier educator from the Ministry of Public Education’s School of Philology. These speakers explored the current landscape of the national education system, with a focus on native language and literature education, discussing both challenges and innovations within the field.

This annual event plays a vital role in bridging global educational trends with local methodologies, strengthening the foundation of Uzbekistan’s educational approach and enriching national identity through language and literature.
