The European Union Educational Fair at TSUULL, 9 October

On October 9, 2023, The 2nd educational fair was organized by the delegation of the European Union in Uzbekistan and the Erasmus+ national office, at Alisher Navo'i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature . A number of leading European universities and international academic organizations took part in the fair with their presentations. The European Union educational exhibition was held with the support of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan and local HEIs.
"The European Union is famous as a center of advanced education and research. The countries of the European Union are home to the world's leading universities, which makes it an important participant in the global higher education market, welcomes Uzbek students with open arms. Further prosperity of Uzbekistan depends on its talented youth. Education is an important foundation for personal and professional development. The higher education received in the universities of the European Union creates global knowledge and skills, later returning to their homeland, the graduates will definitely contribute to the development of the whole country," said Mrs. Adrianne, the ambassador of the European Union to Uzbekistan.

 
Several EU countries, including Belgium, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Romania, and Spain, offered their undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs.

 
Institutions such as the University of Bucharest and the Free University of Berlin, famous for their academic achievements, participated in the event as well. Thanks to the fair, high school students and university students had the opportunity to become more aware of the advanced educational opportunities of the European Union.

 
In the run-up to the next Erasmus+ applications for 2024, EU and local universities have explored institutional cooperation within Erasmus+ projects. Information about Erasmus+ individual scholarships, as well as national scholarships of EU member countries, attracted the attention of young people.
