
Education Minister Visits TSUULL, 23 September
Mr. Ibrokhim Abdurakhmanov, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited the University on 23 September 2023 to see and learn how the University is supporting students through its activities.
Prof. Shuhrat Sirojiddinov, the Rector of TSUULL and Prof. Nozliya Normurodova, TSUULL Vice-Rector for International Cooperation welcomed the Minister. First of all, the Minister familiarized himself with the conditions created for students at the university.
‘The University should literally be the best place for students. Students who cannot go to art galleries and museums after studying should really enjoy the atmosphere and beauty of the University’, the Minister said.
In this regard, the activities of the University team were analyzed and necessary recommendations were made.
After that, the Minister visited the ‘Uzbek School’ that teaches the Uzbek language to foreigners. Proposals were made to enrich the interior of this center with national ornaments to widely promote Uzbek national culture to foreigners.
The Minister, who visited the student dormitory, talked with students with disabilities. He got acquainted with the conditions created for them. Latofat Toshova, who does not lag behind her peers in academic performance and initiative, presented the Minister with her poetry collection.
Talking to students living in the Campus, the Minister expressed warm thoughts about the enthusiasm and enlightenment of young people.
After this, the Minister got acquainted with the preparatory work for the autumn-winter season. Responsible University officials were given appropriate instructions to make operational decisions and eliminate existing problems as soon as possible. An order was given to install a new boiler house and prepare fuel reserves to fully heat the buildings.
