Developing Uzbek Wikipedia together
In recent years, a number of efforts have been made to increase Uzbek textual information and video content in the Internet world. In this regard, Alisher Navo'i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature is also achieving positive results. It is especially important to enrich the Uzbek content in the Wikipedia electronic encyclopedia, to provide accurate and truthful knowledge about our country. Today, many people have heard about the "Wikitalim" (Wikieducation) project, which was established for this purpose. Sufficient opportunities are being created in our university to effectively carry out work in this regard. In particular, the number and weight of quality articles posted on Wikipedia by our students is increasing. The administrators of the Uzbek Wikipedia awarded the "Navoi Uni" page named after our university with the Order of Literature for "enriching the Uzbek-language community with articles in the category of literary scholars, famous persons related to literature, and Navoi studies". Yesterday, the article submitted by Kamola Abdug'aniyeva, a student of our university, was recognized as the best article by the administrators.
Most of Kamola's articles were prepared based on homework assignments from university subjects. She puts the information she has collected during homework into a special article and uploads on Wikipedia. He has more than 200 articles of encyclopedic importance. We are proud of our students who, like Kamola, contribute to the development of society!
