- Controlling over the timely and quality implementation of the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Higher Education, decrees, resolutions, orders and instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions, orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, statements of the Presidium, the decisions of the Ministry of Construction and Higher and Secondary Special Education, as well as the orders of the rector of the university and the decisions of the University Council in faculties, departments and divisions;
- taking measures to prevent irresponsibility and red tape in the consideration of appeals from individuals and legal entities, as well as preventing the recurrence of appeals.
- providing regular assistance in the organization of control over the implementation of disciplinary control by the departments of the university and its status, providing practical assistance in the elimination of identified errors and omissions;
- implementing the division of labor among the staff of the department;
- organizing the preparation of annual and current reports on the activities of the department;
- ensuring compliance with internal labor regulations;
- ensuring the implementation of the department's annual work plan.

Department of handling, control and monitoring of appeals of individuals and legal entities
Ensuring that the applications which were sent to university by individuals and legal entities should be dealt with without being late the deadlines established by law.
Duties:
- Controlling over the timely and quality implementation of the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Higher Education, decrees, resolutions, orders and instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions, orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, statements of the Presidium, the decisions of the Ministry of Construction and Higher and Secondary Special Education, as well as the orders of the rector of the university and the decisions of the University Council;
- taking measures to prevent irresponsibility and red tape in the consideration of appeals from individuals and legal entities, as well as preventing the recurrence of appeals, providing information on the work being done for submission to the Department of Enforcement and Appeals of the Ministry of Education;
- providing methodological assistance in monitoring the timely execution of documents on the basis of electronic record keeping and document management system to ensure the execution of documents;
- coordinating the control work, studying the state of executive discipline in all departments, providing the necessary assistance to eliminate existing shortcomings, informing the rector of the university about the shortcomings;
- the department carries out preventive control, conducts current (daily) and monthly analysis of executive discipline and provides information at meetings of the rector of the university;
- informing the meeting of the Academic Council of the University on the activities of the Department of control, supervision and monitoring of appeals of individuals and legal entities;
- providing regular assistance in the organization of control over the implementation of disciplinary control by the departments of the university and its status, providing practical assistance in the elimination of identified errors and omissions.

Controlling over the timely and quality implementation of the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Higher Education, decrees, resolutions, orders and instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions, orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, statements of the Presidium, the decisions of the Ministry of Construction and Higher and Secondary Special Education, as well as the orders of the rector of the university and the decisions of the University Council in faculties, departments and divisions;
- informing the rector on the results of the study of the state of executive discipline in the departments of the university and monitoring the implementation of orders on the elimination of errors and omissions identified in accordance with his instructions;
- making suggestions and conclusions based on the analysis of the study results;
- if necessary, making proposals to the rector of the university to take disciplinary action against managers and officials who do not comply with the executive discipline;
- controlling compliance with educational standards and regulations at the university;;
- participating in all types of university meetings;
- demanding from the faculties, departments and other structural units of the university the necessary documents for the performance of their duties and involving relevant specialists;
- establishing working groups with the involvement of qualified professors and teachers of the university in the prescribed manner to study on the spot issues within the competence of the department of control and monitoring, working with appeals of individuals and legal entities.
