Cooperation Between TSUULL and Humboldt University
On 17 March 2023, M.A. Ayfer Durdu, an Uzbek Language Teacher at Humboldt University – Institute of Central Asian Studies in Germany, visited Alisher Navoi Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature (TSUULL University) to implement a new Erasmus+ Project based on academic mobility. To say more, German researchers and students coming to Uzbekistan are invited to teach the Uzbek language and spend an adaptation period at TSUULL University.
This cooperation guarantees that TSUULL outstanding students will get an internship in Germany and German youth will study in Uzbekistan. Besides, this opens the door to great opportunities for the TSUULL academic community. It will also be a big step in the implementation of TSUULL University's mission of teaching and promoting the Uzbek language and culture to foreigners.
Over the years TSUULL University has been engaged in a wide variety of projects around the globe. During the 2014-2020 cycle of the Program, TSUULL continued to be an active member of the Erasmus+ Program. Participation in Erasmus+ research and educational projects is one of the important areas of the University's activities. We also seek to both extend partnerships in terms of different areas and deepen them. We plan to improve mobility chances for students, support the role of students and staff in the world and raise the profile of our research and teaching internationally.
So far the University’s cooperation will maintain and enhance strong institutional links across the globe including those with the European Union. By taking part in European Commission initiatives, we want to build the academic student community consisting of Europeans open to other cultures. Also the important asset is that it gives exchange European students the opportunity to acquire a sense of Central Asia identity, cultural heritage and diversity as well as vice versa with TSUULL students. This is the basis of a beneficial partnership that provides innovative development and export potential of the University’s educational technologies and programs.
8 international projects have been implemented by TSUULL teachers. Positive indicators are the basis for our partners to make partnership strong for new projects to our university.
