A Celebration Marked With Achievements!
On May 13, Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature celebrated its 8th anniversary. On the eve of this meaningful date, our students once again demonstrated their talent on the international stage, earning prestigious awards and bringing great pride to our university.
Recently, at the International Student Olympiad two gifted students of the Faculty of Translation Theory and Practice — Doston Akhmedov and Elyorbek Roziqulov — achieved remarkable success, winning 2nd and 3rd places respectively. Their mentor, Zulkhumar Jumanova, emphasized that such achievements have become a proud tradition for our young yet dynamically developing university.
Another wonderful gift to mark the anniversary came from the international arena: three talented students — Gulsanam Azamjonova, Mavluda Ubaydullaeva, and Rayyona Kobilova — earned high places in the International “Living Still Life” Art Competition with their creative video interpretations of works by prominent Uzbek artists featured in national museums. Their projects featured Uzbek-language subtitles, making these videos a valuable educational resource for international learners of our language through real art examples.
Most importantly, our students received valuable prizes — laptops, computers, and tablets — which are especially meaningful for young people from low-income families. Winning these awards through their intellect, hard work, and talent provides not only motivation and pride, but also essential tools for their future studies and professional growth. This reflects our university’s strong commitment to supporting talented students regardless of financial background, ensuring they have the resources to succeed.
We congratulate our students on their victories and wish them continued achievements on the international stage. May their success continue to raise the global prestige of the Uzbek language and our university!
