Call For Applications! TSUULL Launches the Start-Up Contest 2023/2024 Amongst Students
TSUULL Start-Up Contest is held annually to promote entrepreneurship and innovative solutions in the student community, enhance knowledge and skills for startups, create a useful playground, and initiate the innovative spirit in learning and research as well as in the life of the young individuals. The contest also helps connect employers with students, creating opportunities for potential projects to approach investors, search and select innovative ideas as well as feasible projects to be advised, supported, incubated and implemented successfully.
Requirements:
- • applications deadline: 15 November – 15 December’23;
- • one participant can participate with one project;
- • the maximum period of launching digital educational literature, software products, services and technologies based on start-up projects should not exceed 6 months.
- • applications must be based on innovations and technologies, focused on the designing and implementation of promising start-up projects in all directions.
Startup projects are evaluated based on the following criteria:
- • innovativeness of the project - level of use of new technologies and (or) process organization principles not previously used in the republic, the fact that it envisages the creation of a new type of service;
- • technical perfection of the project;
- • budget: compliance of the project's financial provision with the planned work and the size of the cost estimate is not exceeding 10 (ten) million Uzbek soums (in this case, the commission has the right to increase or decrease the amount of the project);
- • marketing plan - project implementation strategy, market size, target audience, main communication/sales channels, competitive environment, etc.;
- • expected results of project implementation - purposeful and effective use of allocated funds, quality and terms of implementation of activities.
To participate in the contest, the following documents must be sent to email startup.toshdotau@gmail.com in PDF format:
- • an application signed by the author of the start-up project;
- • startup project description and context (1-2 pages);
- • budget (1 page);
- • start-up project business text (1-2 pages);
- • start-up project presentation in PPT (5-7 slides).
Submitted projects are subject to preliminary technical expertise on strict compliance with the selection requirements, reliability and authenticity of project materials, non-acceptance of copying (plagiarism), and compliance with the requirements.
Submitted applications may not be recommended for participation in the competition in the following cases:
- • that the start-up project is not innovative in content;
- • that the goals and objectives of the start-up project are not clarified;
- • lack of a solution to the problem presented in the start-up project.
