Announcement: "Open Day: Anticorruption Ahead" Event
We are pleased to announce the upcoming "Open Day: Anticorruption Ahead" event. Interested parties are kindly requested to express their interest and participation by notifying us through the provided channels.

The university has taken several proactive measures to prevent corruption. A considerable number of students, as well as faculty and employees, actively participated in discussions and engaged with professionals during the event. These efforts are part of our commitment to maintaining a corruption-free environment within the university.
The event took place under the umbrella of "Corruption-Free Sphere" and was targeted at part-time and evening students. An educational seminar was held in collaboration with Rector's Advisor B. Utanov, responsible for ensuring socio-spiritual stability among students, and University Prevention Inspector D. Sanginov.

During March, a series of six roundtable discussions were organized for students, including those from the Theory and Practice of Translation faculty, first-year correspondence education students, and dormitory residents. These discussions were conducted in collaboration with the Department of Spirituality and Enlightenment, the Women's Council, the Senior Inspector of Yakkasaroy District, University Prevention Inspector D. Sangirov, and faculty tutors.

January 2022
Since the beginning of the academic year, twelve events have been conducted among students under the theme of "Corruption is a Culprit of Development." These events aimed to raise awareness against corruption and garnered active participation from 1800 students. Distinguished guests, including representatives from the Yakkasaray District Internal Affairs Offices, Department for Coordination of the Activities of Internal Affairs Bodies, and the Deputy Prosecutor of Tashkent City, attended these events.

Continuous efforts to combat corruption at Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature are consistently documented online. The Compliance Control Department identified two librarians displaying indications of bribery involvement and irresponsibility. Consequently, they were relieved of their positions. Additionally, based on analysis results from student requests and quality control department evaluations, certain teachers were released from their posts due to subpar teaching practices.

February 2021
The Department of Compliance Control at Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature has undertaken vigorous efforts to combat corruption. These initiatives are executed in accordance with the university's approved plan and aim to ensure transparency through mass media and social networks. Notably, the @toshdutau_no_korrupsiya_bot channel was introduced to anonymously report instances of corruption involving institute employees and students. Throughout February, a roundtable discussion centered on the theme "Corruption-Free Sphere" was conducted, emphasizing collective anti-corruption efforts and the importance of education without corruption.
Furthermore, measures were intensified to combat corruption during student assessments, academic rehabilitation, and faculty appointments, all aligned with the anti-corruption plan. To enhance accountability, a questionnaire was devised and shared among university staff and personnel.

The Department's action plan led to the issuance of a Ministry of Justice decree aimed at cultivating a strong stance against corruption and reducing corrupt influences. Over ten preventive measures were conducted in February, emphasizing education without corruption. Roundtable discussions engaged professors, teachers, and students, reinforcing the shared responsibility of preventing corruption in education.

Following interviews with part-time students, it was revealed that M. Dehkonova and H. Radjabova had illicitly collected fees from students for membership certificates. Further investigation led to the cancellation of their employment contracts. Disciplinary action was also taken against ARM librarians for their involvement.

An analysis of university student payment-contract receipts revealed irregularities in accordance with established regulations. The "UzASBO" program was used to oversee payment processing. In efforts to raise awareness, A. Nasriddinov presented on the subject of corruption and its various forms, emphasizing the alignment of these initiatives with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Throughout the year, the Department took multiple measures to combat corruption within the university. These efforts included preventive measures, round-dialogues, seminars, educational events, and contests involving faculty, tutors, and students. Collaborative initiatives with academic lyceums further solidified the focus on anti-corruption endeavors.

The Faculty of Applied Philology conducted anonymous questionnaires to gather insights, enabling preventive discussions among faculty and students. Channels such as @Yoshlar_masalalari_bot and @toshdotau_no_korrupsiya_bot were established for reporting purposes. The monitoring of purchases, tender processes, and counterparties continued in line with the year's plan.
Recommendations from stakeholders highlighted the need to streamline admissions and reduce bureaucracy while enhancing staff appointment processes.
