AMICIF-LION'S CLUB STUDENT PRIDE
Majority of university channel advertisements include local and international well-known grants announcements. Therefore, we are proud to inform, that Sabina Jurakulova, a student of the Faculty of Translation Theory and Practice, became the winner of the AMICIF-LION'S CLUB competition! As part of the project, about 30 Francophone students from around the world will gather in France to represent the culture, history and traditions of their country. The organization became international on 12 March 1920, when the first club in Canada was established in Windsor, Ontario. In 1937, it was founded in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Lions Clubs have since spread across the globe and have a current membership roster of 1.4 million members worldwide. The Melvin Jones Fellowship (MJF) Award is the highest recognition from the Lions Clubs International Foundation being given to members who have rendered outstanding community services.
We congratulate Sabina, on this victory and wish her all the best in her beginnings!
