Achievements of World Literature and Universal Literary Studies department



 

In 2021, Doctor of Philology, Professor Yakubov Islamjan Akhmedjanovich published a monograph entitled "Poetics of Uzbek novels of the independence period" in 500 copies. He has participated in conferences in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic.

In 2018, Hamrayev Komiljon Olmasovich defended his PhD thesis on "Compositional poetics in modern Uzbek stories" . He published his monograph "Story Composition" in 2020 in 500 copies.  

A documentary film festival called "People's Heart" was held in the Alley of Writers. Students and professors of the Alisher Navo'i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature took part in the film festival on September 11. The premiere of the documentary film "Alisher Navo'i" was shown. The event was attended by the head of the department, Ph.D., Professor U. Jurakulov and a teacher of the department G. Bobojonov delivered speeches.

On September 13, the Alley of Writers hosted a conference dedicated to the presentation of the works of the great scientist  Alisher Navo'i in Kazakh "Khamsa", "Muhokamatul-lugatayn" and the book "Baqo guli".  The event was attended by the head of the department, Doctor of Philology, Professor U. Jurakulov.

At the initiative of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2021 a textbook "Comparative Literature"  published by Doctor of Philology, Professor U. Jurakulov and PhD K. Khamrayev.

PhD Komiljon Khamrayev recieved docent diploma.
