Achievements of Theory of literature and modern literary processes department

   

   Department of Literary Theory and Modern Literary Processes held a republican scientific-theoretical conference on the scientific and educational significance of Abdulla Aripov's works on November 25, 2020.   
   Members of the department took part in the international scientific-practical online conference "Current issues of modern Uzbek literature" in cooperation with the University of Balkh, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan on May 31, 2021.   
  Republican scientific-theoretical conference was organized dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Umarali Normatov on January 1, 2021.

  On December 23, 2020, Alisher Navo'i tashkent State university of Uzbek language and Literature hosted a republican scientific-practical, online conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the famous Uzbek writer Askad Mukhtor. 

     Abdullah Qadiri's novel "Last Days" was first translated directly from Uzbek into English by Mark Yedward Reese, a well-known American translator and researcher, and published as a book in the United States under the title "Bygone Days". The first copies of the new book were distributed to government agencies, leading higher education institutions and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the United States. It is also included in the catalog of the largest library in the United States - the Library of Congress. This work has also been published in the form of an e-book.
