The professor Qozoqboy Yo‘ldoshev was awarded the Silver Medal of the International Turkish Academy for his contribution to the translation and publication of Abai’s book “Words of Education” into Uzbek. In addition, the scientist’s book “Jilovlanmagan tafakkur mahsuli” was published and the book “Methodology of teaching literature” (“Adabiyot oʻqitish metodikasi”) was published in London.
In addition, professors and teachers of the department Qozoqboy Yo‘ldoshev, Nusratullo Jumakhoja, Xoshimjon Ahmedov, Tozagul Matyokubova, Sohiba Umarova, Gaffor Rahmanov, Husan Maksudov participated in scientific and practical conferences organized in universities in Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan.
The scientific research pamphlet entitled “Life and Work of Alisher Navoi” by the candidate of philological sciences, Associate Professor Matyokubova Tozagul Rajapovna, has been published in Mazori Sharif, Afghanistan, by “Umid Press” in 1000 copies in the old Uzbek script with the support of “Bayoniy ijtimoiy farhangiy jamg‘armasi”.
In this academic year, two dissertation discussions were held at the department: November 15, 2023 (Mamiraliyev Quvonch, Egamberdiyeva Kamola).
In cooperation with Hungary’s Eötvös Loránd University, the international project “Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Program” on the topic “Promotion of the Uzbek language and literature abroad, the issue of translations of Alisher Navoi’s works into English” is intended for 2020-2023 years, 3 members will participate.
