Aim of the council according to women's :
Access: Remove barriers to women’s access to basic services and infrastructure to leverage their empowerment, skills and productive resources, thereby increasing their economic opportunities and assisting them to accumulate and store wealth and build resilience
Mainstreming: Introduce approaches and actions to integrate women’s empowerment measures throughout the University programming and project cycle – from the Member Country
Partnership Strategy, to project identification, design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation and learning – to ensure women participate in the workplace.
Agency: Enhance women’s effective engagement in the socio-economic development process,
thus enabling them to have control over resources and participate fully in the development process of their communities and countries.
Learning: Develop and facilitate knowledge, capacity development and learning opportunities among member countries, thereby scaling up good practices and driving innovation.
Duties of the Council:
• Co-ordinates efforts to ensure the effective implementation of state policies to support women, to protect their rights and legitimate interests, and to increase their role and participation in the socio-political life of the country;
• Strengthening the role of women in the labor community, in public and public administration, and assisting in the organization of targeted work to provide them with social and legal support;
• Timely identification of women's problems, women in need and in difficult social situations. including. compiling address lists of women with disabilities;
• provide them with social, legal, psychological and financial assistance, rehabilitation;
• To prepare young people for family life, to teach them the legal basis for resolving family conflicts. strengthening families. assist in the development of proposals for the prevention of marriage and divorce and the implementation of appropriate measures;
The Council is a permanent Council on a community basis, which provides socio-political support to women, protects their rights and legitimate interests, as well as promotes the implementation of socio-political guarantees reflected in the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In its activities, the Council adheres to the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. normative acts of the Ministry of Education, this Charter and other legislation. The Council operates on the principles of legitimacy, collegiality, transparency, mutual cooperation and respect, equality, voluntariness and public opinion.
Rights and obligations of the Council.
The Council shall perform the following duties in accordance with the tasks assigned to it:
• carry out its activities in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and this Charter;
• comply with the requirements of public oversight legislation;
• respect the honor and dignity of citizens. not to interfere in their private life;
• the Council may have other obligations under the law.
The Board has the following rights:
• Active and proactive in public and state life. He made a worthy contribution to the strengthening of family harmony and well-being, protection of motherhood and childhood, as well as the upbringing of a healthy and harmoniously developed generation, their upbringing in the spirit of devotion to the Fatherland. make proposals to the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education on awarding women with the badge "Honorable Woman" for exemplary work in the promotion of values;
• Submit proposals to the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education on issues within the competence of the Council;
• Women, especially those in need and in difficult social situations. To exercise public control over the implementation of the legislation on benefits for women with disabilities;
• Organizing and conducting various competitions and sports competitions for women at the university in order to increase the effectiveness of the tasks assigned to them;
Duties of Council Members
• Carry out the tasks set out in the Charter and the Charter of the University;
• Maintenance of legal documents;
• Enforcement of University Council decisions;
• Take measures to increase the efficiency of the Council.
• The staff of the Council regularly fulfills the tasks and responsibilities assigned by the University administration in a timely manner.
• Employees of the department strictly follow the law in their work.
