TSUULL Discussed the Collaboration Prospects with Azerbaijani Universities, 12 December
On 12 December 2023, in a discussion with representatives from Azerbaijani universities, Alisher Navoiy Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature (hereinafter – TSUULL) hosted Zulfiya Shafiyeva, the Head of the International Projects Department under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Yuliyeva Sivaldayeva, the Project Manager of leading Azerbaijani Universities. Prof.,Dr.Nozliya Normurodova, TSUULL Vice-Rector for International Cooperation welcomed them.
During the conversation, the guests expressed their satisfaction with the university's role in expanding collaboration ties with Azerbaijani universities. Topics such as jointly implementing programs, preparing international projects, and striving for a competitive position in global rankings were discussed.
The visitors provided valuable recommendations on fostering closer collaboration between Baku's influential state and non-state universities and Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature. They suggested presenting positive proposals under the name of existing faculties for the TSUULL (targeted integrated educational programs) in Azerbaijan. The discussions concluded with the formulation of concrete mechanisms for implementing upcoming plans with both sides committing to starting practical work soon.
It's worth noting that our university has recently been recognized as one of the top 600+ universities in the ‘THE Impact Rankings’ by the prestigious ‘Times Higher Education’ Ranking Agency positioning itself among the world's top 20 universities for gender equality in the current year.
