Sociology Day 2023: Local Companies Visit TSUULL: Creating University-Business Partnerships, 15 November

The 15th of November 2023 the annual Day of Sociology was organized by the Faculty of Uzbek Language Education at TSUULL.

On the occasion of Sociologists' Day TSUULL met with representatives of research and consulting agencies: Nazar Business and Technology LLC [NBT.UZ] and M-Vector

It was agreed to conclude mutual cooperation agreements between the university and companies and further develop work in this regard.

The Dean of the Applied Philology Faculty, Prof. Saodat Mukhamedova thanked the guests for the interesting and useful meeting with TSUULL students:

‘By organizing networking events for students to meet potential employers, you’re not only educating students on what the industry is like, but also showing off some of the best talented students. On Sociologist's Day, I would like to congratulate everyone who is involved in this young and important science. The Sociology Day hosted several key events including today’s meeting with keynote speeches by Madina Kholmirzayeva, the Director of Research agency ‘Nazar Business and Technology, LLC - NBT’, Khalida Tabibullayeva, Head of BD Department, Aziz Hasanov, Director of international research and consulting company ‘M-Vector’, Gulzoda Teshaboyeva, Head of company’s Department, Hasan Kurbanov, company’s Chief Specialist,  and my colleagues – academic staff of Uzbek Language Education Faculty, and students of the 1st and 2nd-year of Sociology Students’.

  

The opening speech was given to the Director of the research agency ‘Nazar Business and Technology, LLC - NBT’ Madina Kholmirzayeva. In her presentation, in addition to providing detailed information about the company, she told about the areas in which future sociologists should cooperate with students, what tasks students can perform in the company and how much they can be paid for their work. She noted that there is a great need for translators and sociologists who know the Uzbek language well and can translate it from different languages. And he invited students to work in the company (on a competitive basis), stressing the need for students to be well-versed specialists in their field as well as to learn several languages well.

Then Hasan Qurbanov, Senior Specialist of the M-Vector international research and consulting company, gave full information about the company and introduced the audience to the large projects carried out by it until now. In his speech, Hasan Kurbanov revealed what qualities future sociologists should have and what they should pay special attention to. The guests talked about the possibility of an internship in both companies and expressed their readiness for any help and advice for this.
