The International Office at TSUULL acts as a vital bridge between the university and the women translators,contributing directly to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – especially SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), and SDG 17 (Partnership for the Goals).
The Women’s Translators Network has been established at Alisher Navoiy Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature to empower, connect, and inspire women in the field of translation and interpreting.
This initiative aims to create a supportive community where female students, researchers, and professionals can exchange experiences, enhance their translation skills, and collaborate on local and international projects. Through workshops, mentorship programs, and networking events, the Network will highlight women’s contributions to linguistic and cultural exchange, promoting visibility and leadership in translation studies.
At TSUULL, we believe that empowering women in language professions strengthens not only academic excellence but also social progress.
The TSUULL International Office also actively supports events such as workshops and meetings with experienced translators that help enhance professional skills, allowing participants to refine crucial aspects such as speech culture, terminology, style, and the accurate interpretation of intercultural nuances.
