In our childcare zone, we have

Stroller is designed to provide mobility and ease of movement for infants or small children, allowing caregivers to move the cradle from room to room effortlessly. The wheels ensure stability and safety while facilitating convenient transportation and positioning.

Baby Cot provides a safe and comfortable sleeping space for infants. It is designed to keep the baby secure and supported while they sleep.

Our university has established an Academic Adventures Child Center, designed mainly to support students with young children in continuing their studies effectively.
The rooms in this center are specifically tailored for children, equipped with various amenities. First and foremost, the rooms are bright, cozy, and provide all necessary conveniences, including animated toys that are both engaging and suitable for children.
There is also a television, and the center offers medications for children, showing care for the young ones of students.
A coordinator has been appointed, who is responsible for ensuring children's safety. Young students can leave their children at the center without worry and attend their classes
There is also a comfortable bed area for children to nap. Additionally, the center provides healthy snacks for the children while their mothers are in class.

A baby walker supports infants learning to walk with a seated harness and wheels for mobility. It often includes toys to entertain the child.

Toys shelf stimulate sensory development and motor skills, providing both entertainment and learning opportunities.
They help with cognitive growth and hand-eye coordination.

One of the main reasons for establishing this center is to ensure students can attend classes fully, enhancing their focus in a calm and healthy environment. We know that if a student attends class with a child, their attention to the lesson can decrease, potentially impacting academic performance negatively. This center helps prevent such situations, creating a supportive environment that benefits both students and their children.
On top of that supporting their mental well-being by reducing their stress about child care, allowing them to focus on their studies. The center also fosters a sense of community among student-parents, offering them a space where they feel understood and supported in balancing education with parenting.

Why is it important to have childcare room at university?
Having a childcare room at university is crucial for several reasons. First, it provides essential support to student-parents and university staff who are balancing the demands of higher education or work with parenting responsibilities. By offering a convenient, accessible childcare space on campus, universities enable these individuals to focus more fully on their studies or work, knowing their children are safe and nearby. This setup helps to reduce the stress and time constraints that often come with finding reliable childcare off-campus, fostering a more supportive and inclusive academic environment. Furthermore, a childcare room encourages diversity and equal opportunities, as it can be particularly beneficial for single parents or families with limited financial resources who might otherwise struggle to afford private childcare services. In this way, universities show a commitment to inclusivity and educational equity, helping to remove barriers for parents pursuing academic goals. Ultimately, by providing childcare facilities, universities invest in the well-being of their community, promoting a more balanced, productive campus atmosphere that benefits everyone involved.

How does university support students who have children?
Our university offers various forms of support to help students who have children balance their academic responsibilities with their parenting duties. One of the primary ways the university assists is by providing access to on-campus childcare facilities, allowing student-parents to focus on their studies, knowing their children are in a safe, nurturing environment nearby. Additionally, the university offers flexible scheduling options and online course access, enabling parents to plan their academic workload around their family commitments more effectively. There may also be dedicated support services, such as counseling and family-focused workshops, which provide student-parents with both emotional support and practical resources for managing their unique challenges. Furthermore, some universities provide financial aid options specifically for parents, like scholarships or grants to ease the financial burden of both education and childcare expenses. By offering these types of support, our university fosters a more inclusive and equitable environment, ensuring that students with children have the resources they need to succeed academically while fulfilling their responsibilities as parents.
