Russian language center


A.S. Pushkin Center for Russian Language and Literature  is a place where Russian and Uzbek culture are closely linked, portraits and works of A. Pushkin and A. Navo’i are located side by side, university students study the Russian language, read works of Russian classical literature and organise poetry nights. Our center was established on October 19, 2018 at the Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature with the support and participation of the Representative Office of “Rossotrudnichestvo” in the Republic of Uzbekistan. “The Rossotrudnichestvo” office has supplied the Russian language center with a large amount of scientific and educational and methodological materials.

The opening ceremony of the center

Our Russian language center named after Pushkin was opened on October 19, 2018 at the Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature with the support and participation of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

International Online Olympiad

On February 22, 2019, at the initiative of Tyumen State University, the International Online Olympiads in Russian was held, which was attended by more than a hundred of students from 25 countries. Students of Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature Usmanova Nilufar and Mamarasulov Talibjan were awarded in this event.

 

Dictation competition

In February 2020, Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University hosted a "Dictation in Russian" by professors and students of NGLU named after NA Dobrolyubov. The event was attended by activists of the Pushkin Russian Language Center. A graduate student of Nizhny Novgorod State University presented diplomas and certificates to honorary students.

 

Poetry evening

On November 20, 2018, the center hosted a “Poetry Evening” dedicated to the 205th anniversary of the great Russian poet Fyodor Tyutchev.

 

The Russian language center named after A.S Pushkin, which operates at our university, has significant aspects. All facilities are created there to strengthen students' knowledge of the Russian language. Aimed at strengthening the relationship between the two nations, the center provides audio books that allow students to learn Russian on the basis of modern methods, helping students to learn the subtleties of phonetics and pronunciation rules. We express our deep gratitude to the organizers of the Center and wish them success in their future international activities

The center is formed in cooperation with the Science and Culture Center of the Russian Embassy and organizes a number of events. Members of the center carry out joint programs with higher education centers in cities such as Nizhny Novgorod, Tyumen, Volgograd. I wish success to the activities of the center, and thank the organizers.

The Pushkin Center regularly hosts international conferences, seminars and international competitions. Activists of the Pushkin Center are actively involved in international projects of the European Union on UN educational programs. In 2019, an international conference on the UN model was held in Russia, and our students actively participated in this conference and took honorary places. I wish success to the activities of the center, and thank the organizers.

As a member of this Center, I have read many works, participated in conferences, Olympiads, competitions. As a competition winner, I visited Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod and got acquainted with the experience of Russian universities. I would like to express my profound gratitude to the university authorities, for establishing Russian center named after Pushkin, personally to our rector Shuhrat Samariddinovich, and to my teachers.
